Yesterday was a bit of a bust anyway. We only got about 5 cars dyno'd before a sensor on the dyno overheated and we had to shut it down until a dyno dynamics rep can come and look at it. I had my engine out on the showroom floor so the subaru guys could get a look at real power.

lmao. Im sure they didnt like that to much. I forgot the guys name there that drives the white sti with all the blonde carbon fiber on it. It is a hott STI i must say. Last time i talked to him he said it was around 450hp. I though after 400 in a sti you had to have the block strengthened. I forgot what it was called.

That dam CAS should be in next week so well see how things go. That and im getting my license back Monday. lol.

Yeah, that STi belongs to Mike. I don't think its actually 450hp, the place that he had it dyno'd for that number has a questionable rep. The car does look great, though, just not what I would do to car with that kind of money he spent.

Yah definitely some dough dropped on that car. The blonde carbon alone is sick but some serious cash.

What the shop he dyno'd it at has there correction factor a lil off. lol.

Car is undergoing paint and body work right now. The engine is done and waiting to drop in as soon as the engine bay gets painted. I spent all day clearing the engine bay and pulling off body panels.

This is what it looked like when I started:

This is what it looked like when I was done:

Fenders pulled off:

Test fit of the new rear bumper:

I should have the engine in and running by the end of the week.

Are those the final numbers? What boost and octane?

They are good numbers for sure and reinforce my desire for high torque numbers.

UPDATE!

Engine bay is done, engine is done, so tomorrow I'll be lubing it up and slipping it in. Probably be awhile before I actually start it up since someone absconded with my oil cooler and I am waiting for it to return.

Engine is in! I need to get the car on a lift and install the transfer case and axles still, but it is almost ready to start. Just waiting on the return of my oil cooler.
