How do you guys think the 'new' S2's will go compaired to the Kelford 272's... Do you think it is work swapping my kelfords out for the NEW GSC S2's?

Im running a 2.3L, Trust T67 + Fully built head..

Looking for killer midrange..

Bump from the past!

JB, it's 18 months or so later, you still liking the mivec S2's on the stock turbo cars you tune? How do they affect spool-up? FP 4R's are the only mivec cam I've seen that really improve on spool but have decent top-end, and curious what the S2's do.

Here is a comparison from Cosworth M3s to the 278/274 version of the S2 (no longer available). I have loved every minute of the 274/274 S2s I had, the 278/274 in my new motor and the S2Rs that I have yet to test will be the same I am sure.

Nope. You'd probably be better off with your stock cams.

In my opinion yes. The BC's will gain you a little power, but you will need to degree them with an adjustable cam gear and even then won't give you nearly the gains as a "good" cam. If you're going to go through the effort of installing cams (or paying to have it done), you might as well spend a little extra and actually get a proper camshaft.
