Congrats to all involved. I'm always blown away about how short the parts list is in these threads of Dave's and everything is BR, BR, BR. It makes it seem so easy making builds like this. Which in a way it is by going to Buschur. But the reality is making this kind of power isn't easy... takes a lot of work and skill.

Ok Dave... tell us what you think of this new HTA turbo now...

I hope I see 675-700whp on the race gas tune on Dave's dyno. Since, I just bought the exact same turbo, part of this is wishful thinking

Great numbers! What persuaded him to use this turbo instead of the HTA35R?

Words can not describe how good this makes me feel... Thank you a thousand times doesnt even come close to how thankful I am for having the BEST Evo/DSM shop in the world build my car

Looking at the graph it doesnt seem the turbo holds tq like the HTA35r. I dont really DD the car. Its mostly a weekend worrior. Its like you said on the phone Dave... imagine if we had bigger cams in the car .... (BF272 Mivics would be sweet )

I remember last year running on 93 at 25psi on my old BR 35r kit was blast and C16 was even better. On C16 I made 467 at 29psi. Now I have 573 on pump

I will be at the track next weekend for my 1 pass, before I am asked to leave. I cant go this weekend, I have a few customers cars to do installs on, plus I have ALOT of weight to take out of this thing between now and then

I am still at work and posting this off of my phone, I will check in when I can see the graph a bit better....

No intention of making the BF272's in MIVEC, sorry. I am considering eliminating the MIVEC though and just putting our cams in.

Someone last week had a comment about not rev'ing the cars high enough that we build. Here is one that I did rev high enough. Most of the time it is not needed, this particular car just keeps making power.

Peter's car made 580 hp on our dyno.

The boost has no taper, it holds 30 psi all the way across the RPM range.

I am not getting into a comparison of this one vs. other turbos in this particular thread. If the discussion is started elsewhere and I am invited to it and asked questions I would be glad to respond. This particular thread is for Jeff's new ride.

BTW, you are welcome Jeff, THANK YOU for letting us build the car for you.

Looking forward to your AEM EMS class and some beers Friday. I tune betterr when I am drinking ice cold Guiness draught in the bottle by the way
