More 93 octane numbers, another record by just a few HP
crcain, we're after the 9's too. We have to get there before David gets to the 8's. Something tells me that I know his ultimate goal, 8's on the RS. With what he's doing on pump gas, imagine the race gas versions.
I'm just trying get my 35r there
Some MT slicks arrived here the other day for me. I'm hoping that solves everything and I get there
Unfortunately I can't really compare pump gas stuff with you guys as I have no idea what the pump fuel is here. There is no label on the pumps
There is NO might's or maybe's, my car will absolutely without a doubt run 9's on pump gas, it's just a matter of going to the track. Remember, it's gone 9.97 at 142 with only 542 whp on Neova's. It shouldn't even be much of a challenge at this point to do it.
It's coming. I just have to finish my testing first. I put just enough race gas back in it today to finish the intake testing tomorrow. Then I am doing a tune for 93 octane when I figure out which intake works the best.
Right now the car has the Driven Innovations intake and 3" Hypertune TB on it, I have faith in Indy EVO and if this intake that he sent me works as he expects it to the car is going to have the best low/mid range and equal top end of anything else I have tried. We will see............

Absolutely no pressure directed at me
and with retirement I have nothing but time to make it better if it needs to be

Welcome to Dave's world... Thanks, mellon and warp9... I have had more fun with these projects, if it makes good power great, if it does not I have 6 other versions we can try. This is a dyno mule and what we learn tomorrow will set the stage for more to come. Thanks again Dave for taking the time to do this for me. Chris, I haven't forgot about you I'm just letting my "spare" time sink in.

I do recognize your point, which I believe is to say, investing a lot of time in a hobby is not always the best idea, if your time can be better spent elsewhere.
But I'm not quite sure how you've concluded what my trade is, how much money I make, and how fast my car is. I could go into detail about all three but that just seems like poor manners to me. Let's just say I'm doing fine
I'm quite happy I've done many things on my own with my car. If I had spent the money but hadn't learned anything I'd feel sort of cheated right now. To each his own though.

Indy, it's good for about 7 months, then you REALLY start looking for projects. For the first 6 months, I got caught up on all of the pet projects that got put off. Then, I started looking. Eventually, my business partner in a 'side' company pulled me back in to writing more software and creating another company. Now, I want to retire again. I'm like a turbo going from surge to choke to surge again.
crcain, which tires/size did you get?
