More 93 octane numbers, another record by just a few HP
I'm going to do the same while I build trinkets and trash for David. I'm going to do Indy one last time and the last thing on my motorsports to do list is to go to Le Mans, which might happen next year with a P2 team. Then it will be time to evaluate what will happen next. Who knows I might end up in Wakeman... hmmm.

I was on the dyno all day today, just finished up about 30 minutes ago. I had three sets of cams in my car TODAY. Results were interesting, probably should be for another thread though.
Tomorrow morning I am putting Indy's intake manifold on my car and putting it back on the dyno.
Today's testing has now put me in a spot where I need MORE testing. I have another set of camshafts I want to try now, I may have them next week.
First thing in the morning, I am going to install the Indy intake manifold/65mm throttle body again on the car. Then it will be going right on the dyno.
After the dyno test I am sure I will contact Indy first.
I am very happy with how my car is set up right now. I didn't mention it before but I have done some mods to the Driven Innovations intake. I had a CNC mount made for the factory IAC. I then mounted the IAC to the intake under the 3" Hypertune throttle body. We also made a nice mount for the dipstick on it. I spent a lot of time making all the vacuum fittings super clean so I have limited hoses under the hood. Sure does look freaking good. There are really no "visible" vacuum lines on the car now.
With that said I have this stange inner desire to see this intake manifold Indy made to just kick some serious ***. I'd like to have all the low end power back with the same top end. Is it possible? We will know in the next 24 hours.

DID
David you might want to check the manifold I think Jeff let something slip. Jeff did you swap that thing for a stocker?

Went with MT ET Drag 24.5/8-15. I would have loved to run a taller tire like you do but I think the Evo 6 has a bit less room in the wheel well and I wanted to play it safe as getting stuff down here is a PITA. Will deffo be shifting 5th since I'm on the 2.4.
Indy and Dave good luck with the test. Indy, at any point would you be willing to share what your observations were re: the stock intake manifold? Presumably you thought it was a pretty nice piece considering you went the route you did. I have to admit I'm guilty in hoping for failure as my HKS mani is in my guest room waiting to go in
and I will be so upset if there is something much better!

From this point out all manifold information, descriptions, photos, dyno sheets, ect. will go directly through Buschur Racing... good or bad this test is being done to find what can be done with a cast manifold... like I said before there are 6 versions, this is only the first, once we establish a baseline we can develop from there. I did this for 9sec9 and myself for our FP Green powered engines, but with David's input I think this project has gone so much further than we expected...we hope for the best and prepare for the worst, in R&D you can never tell untill you make the first pull. Good Luck today David, if anything we should gain more data to move forward.
