HOLY ****......Thats my car.....

Dave...I was not expecting this seriously......I mean ...I was expecting big numbers but not THAT big on pump....you exceed my expectations again...this goes to prove that great parts + great tuning pays for itself

Funny thing is the car was mainly sent for a regular pump tune so I can sell it because I had no time for enjoying the car cause of my job...Mr. Buschur really did not have to go a mile further like that.....Dave tuned it in the past for E85 and I was more than happy having neck massages every once in a while . DB really takes pride in his work.

I have a big every time I see that graph...It just reminded me how torque hits you like a supercharged V8 when you stomp on it...the car was torturing the tires... its like when it was tuned for E85 except this time I can use 93 pump gas only...how convenient is that

Man you put me in a hard spot now....I may just bring it home and stare at it

This gentleman deserve the recognition guys...I have NEVER dropped a penny at Buschur Racing and was not completely happy.

Great job DB

I used to be a big 2.0L advocate until I saw that magic.

thanks Moosa...the whole car has 10-11k miles on it

cant remember exactely...I would say 4k miles on the block!!...I just realized that my car is barely driven.

And I bought it in 2005...I have washed it more than driven it...

a shame if you ask me.

Hey Jassil...well... I really did not think about it thoroughly yet...it still would be a steal no matter what...it takes allot of $$ and TIME to replicate my results...I could take offers...but I rather leave all that talk to pms now since this is DB's thread.

Eventually I will start a separate thread for that when I give it more thought.

David,
how long until we see some pump gas numbers from your RS??

It seems to be the leader when it comes to 35R's so it would be sweet to see some numbers from that....

You know you want 9's on pump gas!!

They like rum and scotch down here, but not in a margarita..

I was just curious because I thought Dave said he couldn't run more boost, but I thought switching to race fuel you would run a lot more ignition advance. And I think, correct me if I'm wrong, when run more advance, you don't need more airflow, but you make more power?

Anyway congrats to all you BR owners. I am happy with my car BUT... if I could do it again I would have shipped it to Buschur with 5 gallons of Antigua pump gas and come and visited Ohio to pick it up. Although I wouldn't have learned to much doing that... hmmm. Tough choice.

For those who may be curious, optimum shift points for the stroker car work out to right about 8000 rpm in every gear.

Well you could learn a good career so you make more money and pay for someone to do it right from the get go. Whatever your doing now your not getting a fast car or making good money. People take hobbies to extremes sometimes. what they learn at the end is that they don't have a career or the ability to make a hobby a real job.

crcain, will you be building evos for a living any time soon?

The choice is not tough anymore I guess

I do recognize your point, which I believe is to say, investing a lot of time in a hobby is not always the best idea, if your time can be better spent elsewhere.

But I'm not quite sure how you've concluded what my trade is, how much money I make, and how fast my car is. I could go into detail about all three but that just seems like poor manners to me. Let's just say I'm doing fine

I'm quite happy I've done many things on my own with my car. If I had spent the money but hadn't learned anything I'd feel sort of cheated right now. To each his own though.

Waz, THANK YOU for once again letting us work on the car. I know you wanted a bunch of stuff done and I kept talking you out of it...............the results are great though and it cost you very little No wonder you like us! haha

Hobby? What the hell is a hobby? I ruined my favorite hobby about 19 years ago turning it into work. Now I have to go kill something to enjoy a hobby!haha

I was on the dyno all day today, just finished up about 30 minutes ago. I had three sets of cams in my car TODAY. Results were interesting, probably should be for another thread though.

Tomorrow morning I am putting Indy's intake manifold on my car and putting it back on the dyno.

Today's testing has now put me in a spot where I need MORE testing. I have another set of camshafts I want to try now, I may have them next week.

The good news is, as long as I am testing I am happy. The day I finish this car, you will probably see it up for sale............that's how I do things usually. I hope it's never really done.

One more thing. My car is definetely going to be put on pump gas and it is going to go 9's on 93.

Dave you're really going to be annoying me further if you run 9's on pump fuel. That is my goal on race fuel and it's just too discouraging hearing about how you might do it on pump.
