I guess you were in the same boat as me. I oredered my clutch from Maperformance on here for cheap. Then I bought this intercooler. Ran me about 720 total.

I just recived my byc intercooler. I am very pleased with the construction. It looks very sturdy and all the welds are thick and solid! Can't wait to install. So far i am very impressed!

^ please be more specific with your question what about the core are you asking. all the dimensions are listed on the listing. the fins are very sturdy and will not bend at the touch like stock. it is bar and plate. was able to keep my 35r build happy.

As far as performance, after install i could already feel a difference in power. I am on the stock 9.8 turbo with all the bolt ons and overall the car feels like it pulls a little harder. Midrange is where i notice it the most. This is without a tune also! Me and my brother both noticed a differnece! great bang for the buck!!!! Hope to get a tune with the ix turbo in the next month. OH YA IM LOOKING FOR AN IX TURBO IF ANYONE HAS ONE!

I bought one a month ago and it fits great, and works with the stock pipping. I have not done a dyno but I can feel a great inprovment. I love it and loved the price. you can not dis this intercooler.

Just read the whole thread. Very interesting.

So a general question about upgrading the intercooler. This BYC one doesn't look too much bigger than the stocker, however it is quite a bit thicker. Is that where the extra cooling capacity is?
