doesnt have a lot of surface area...
you can get more S.A. without removing the crash beam....
and on intercoolers, the more the better

should of got an ETS or something
support the people that support R&D for your car.... not some knock off crap
sure its more expensive, but you get what you pay for...

i was just reading a post earlier where ETS tom tested his intercooler against an ebay one... if you read it you would be sending that thing back as you read this

heres what a quality intercooler looks like in the IX grill:

Yeah but how much better than stock is what really matters. If it's slightly better for a couple hundred bucks ok but if a reputable intercooler is A LOT better for a few hundred more then it makes sense to save a bit.

Agree'd but i wouldn't be able to justify 240 for a whole i/c set up compared to 900+ for most and the disputed claims on stock turbos be 5-10 hp, I believe that if someone was running meth that would indeed help out with some of the heat soak, but ultimately i think that if a turbo upgrade is in the near future a better i/c would most likely be needed. If not i would have to say that the ebay i/c on stock turbo is "sufficient".

I personally bought this intercooler just to try it out and get rid of the stocker. I know that if I was to go anything bigger than the stock turbo of course I would get a much better one.

im just saying its bang for the buck man you cant compare 10whp gain for 900+dollars compared to the same gain for 240 on stock turbo and even bigger turbos like i ran.
