when you make blunt accusations like that you can blame me for taking it to heart. all i have had are people trying to flame me with supporting my friends intercooler design. dont say things about peoples products and expect them to thank you. not that i took anything you say seriously i mean you buy quality megan racing parts.

dont cry because people dont like your friends intercooler design.... end of story right there

still nothing to back up your fight, still no dyno charts or anything. obviously you take what i say seriously since you take offense to it, and take the time to replay to it. i dont see how the parts i buy for my car have anything to do with your butt buddy's intercooler. i mention heat soak and your about to soak your freaking pants trying to argue with me. go change your tampon, get some proof to back up your fight, then post it up here. i bet we will be waiting forever for this proof too. you will probably have another mishap like last time

I AM NOT TALKING ABOUT YOUR STUPID INTERCOOLER....

get that through your thick *** skull. heat soak affects every intercooler, not just yours, so stop getting all offensive.

and i wont waste my money on that sh*t either, so you wont be hearing any of those stories from me

Okay, it's been a while since I started the thread and since then I have bought and installed the BYC racing intercooler. Here are some details about what I thought about it. Before you read on I just want to assure you (the reader) that I am no way associated with BYC racing, I am just an evo owner that wanted a intercooler, but didn't want to spend that much.

-The fins were about the same quality as the stock intercooler. Meaning, the fins bent with the same amount of pressure applied on both intercoolers, but the BYC intercooler with stood a little more pressure. I carefully tried this out.

- The mounts that I recieved held the intercooler well, but I had to bend the top mount a little to fit correctly. It wasn't hard to do.

- The fitment fitted well with the stock crash beam.

- The front bumper was hard to fit back in its insert located in the wheel section. This meant I had to pull it a little to fit the screw back in its insert. This was due to the licp and uicp bulging out a little. Remember this is an evo 9 bumper, not an evo 8, which was shown in the advertisement.

Other than those mentioned, it fit with my uicp and licp. The licp was a Nesei 1081 and the uicp was the injen one. I can't go dyno yet, because I am breaking in my clutch and I might just do some pulls when break in period is over. Pics and progress of my build can be seen at

http://www.boostaddicts.net/forum/in...opic,14.0.html

Now on with the pics! It looks so much better with the new front mount. Thanks BYC racing.
