it is a bar and plate design that is much thicker than stock and its surface area is alittle larger but you cant go much larger than this so you dont compromise the radiators efficiency and u dont have much of an opening anyway it pretty much fills a lot of it up. we also wanted it to fit without cutting etc. it also flows much more air more efficiently than the stocker. this intercooler will not heat soak as the stocker will with increased air flow. those are main differences.

No offense to your friend selling these, but he needs to be a little more honest in the title of the Ebay listings.
Copied and pasted: "EVO 8-9 FMIC intercooler kit BYC racing 750hp+ bolt-on
750 hp capable BEST UNIT ON EBAY!----FEEDBACK TELLS ALL"

So where's the FEEDBACK that TELLS ALL? He has five feedbacks and they're all from sellers.

it doesnt matter about dyno gains....
it all depends on heat soak....

an intercooler with bars that thin is a lot more likely to develop heat soak quickly as compared to larger ones, like most top name companies use

wat are you talking about. if anywhere its going to heat soak on a dyno since there is way less airflow. and have you even seen the intercooler in person or read the reviews on this thread. the bars are very thick actually. i never heat soaked this intercooler on my 35r read before you post garbage in this thread.

if you read i had problems with my car. all i need is to post ****ty dyno charts since my car was blowing out and misfiring then people blame the intercooler for it. if you havent noticed i've backed up everything i've said. what grounds do you have to accuse the intercooler of heat soaking. back up your accusations there are so many pics comparing this intercooler in this thread. plus testimonials
