They said they have disks in stock too. Worth a call, they seem to hook members up fairly well

Cool, I got my last clutch from No-Limit. I am buying the disk through the shop that is doing the clutch, he only charges $350 Labor....he wants 130$ for the disk....I figured I would give him the business because he takes care of me on labor He installed my last clutch and did a great job....can beat 350 bones for an install

Old thread I know but I have a question. I just got done destroying my ACT HDSS learning to launch with a 500WHP E85 monster EVO 9. I am in need of a new clutch and most likely a PP. I am looking into the ACT HDG6 6 puck clutch. Sticking with a re surfaced flywheel. Is this going to be a good clutch for me, I have searched and searched and am getting mixed reviews and thoughts about it. I will be driving my evo about 3 to 4 times a week to work and back and occasional trips to the store/whatever....But anytime I see something worth racing like a gt500 or a z06 vette or ANY SUBARU WRX STI I will most likely be launching it. Also I intend on hitting the track at least once every 2 weeks if not every week. I think I have my launching down pretty good now with the sacrifice of the HDSS. Should I go with the HDG6 or stick with the HDSS. ALSO I HAVE A STOCK TRANNY AND TRANSFER CASE and I don't intend on building either of those for about another year. I would like them to last....WHAT IS MY BEST OPTION?? ANY INPUT IS GREATLY APPRECIATED!!

Sorry so long.

Jeff

I think you would be fine with the 6 puck. However if I had to do it all again I would get a twin disk...its the only way if you can afford it.

So what were your overall experiences with the HDG6 did you find the chatter and engagement to be not to your liking?

I have the 6 puck and it sucks I have for almost 1 year and still can't get use to it.The only good thing is no lockout and holds good tq..I would get the disc with extreme p.p.
