Quick question for you guys...

I have my wastegate set-up running back into the down-pipe. (bought the kit set-up like this)

Has anyone seen hp/tq gains from letting the wastegate 'vent' out to open air?

I've always just vented it and never did any tests with it one way or another on the same car. I'm hoping someone has gone through this and can comment.

Thanks.

You wont see much of a difference when venting the wastegate. Just sounds cool.

Thank you for the positive comment!! Tough times out here on evom. It's a scary place!!....lol

I've got some work to do on my baby still. I love taking my time and triple-checking every detail. Looking to pick-up 5-8mph next time at the track- same boost level. Tweaking can take a few days, but it's very satisfying to have a really consistent everyday driver.

How do you like that 3076?

I like it a lot. Its great on a 2.0. Im thinking about sending it out to FP to convert to HTA3076r. Just cause it will flow 57lbs vs the 52 the normal GT3076r flows. With the right mod list, boost, tune, you will be at 500whp. Dont give up and dont listen to anyone. Just research the **** out of everything. There are people on evom that show great testing results. There are people on here who know there ****. There are also people who think they know (aka paper trained). Dont let the haters get you down. If you have any questions feel free to ask. Ive been running this turbo since 04. I do the work on the car and have seen how tunes work with this turbo to make power

"Driver mod".......lol

Oh it's true, it's so true... I'm so damn rusty. I haven't been to the track since 06 and this was the first time going through all 4 gears in this car. I thought I would get more runs in, but track was packed.

As for the megan,,,, there's doubts on the megan and atp housing all over this forum. But my question to you is, would you buy this entire set-up ( megan manifold, atp kit, tial wg, all lines, fittings, couplers, v-band clamps) for $1,000? For that price I figured, why not?

So far I got my money's worth!

Added 2 more deg. up top and picked up 2 mph. Car is getting there. A little more tweaking on the 2tep/ first 100 feet of the track and everything should come together. I think I should grab my ***** and get on with the racegas tune.

It wouldn't hurt if my left leg wouldn't keep falling asleep on me,,,,lol

The other guy caught a 1.6 and finnished at 118mph vs. my 2.4 60ft 118mph. I was pulling him in like a fish!!

Made some adjustments, but came out spinning on this one. Felt the rear kick out sideways... Of course I was all happy and gigling in the driver seat cause i just knew this was the 11 second pass hands down!!,,, I flick on the hazards to signal to my family in the stands that this was it, looked in the sideview mirror to see where the other car was, and was gigling like a fkin schoolgirl in a boys locker-room!!! So of course got over confident, missed fourth BAD and blew the pass...

12.40 @113... I'm such a jackass..

Going 11.40's next time @ 120 or getting towed home. I can't wait for this weekend!
