can anyone recommend a website that has the ngk's gapped @ stock settings (.024) so far i've found some @ napa for about 13 a piece

^ EVO VIII spark plug gapped at .032. OP is asking about a IX plug gapped to .024.

This is the OEM IX plug, it doesnt come pregapped to .024 though.

anyone ever try that pulstarplug thing? its advertised in many magazines to be a better spark then the usual.. ierno wanted to do some more research before i run them

Come on, those gimmicky plugs will destroy your motor instead of giving you umteen times ten more power. There is a sucker born every minute, people will believe anything. Lets not be those people. I'm not saying pulstar is bad, but I have seen my share of ruined cars brought down by a lost plug electrode from other brands, mainly platinum.

With the design of the EVO head as opposed to the DSM, I would recommend not using the protruding plug (BPR7ES) and stick to the BR7ES, but that is just preference. Either or should work just fine though. NGK has been tried and true. Don't f@%& about. Edit: Oh yeah, and yadda yadda more boost run 8's.

i bought my pre-gapped 1 step colder plugs from lancershop. i paid for 8 and they sent me a box of 10!!!!!!!!
