Any results or times from the shoot out
Exactly!
Whose going to enforce all these rules?
What about fuel checks and turbo sizing especially for the turbo size class records just to name a few.
Who's going to enforce all theses rules.
I'm sorry a list on an internet forum has nothing to do with real life racing.
It's all about bragging rights and everyone involved knows that.

go out and get a NHRA license and run some of the NHRA sanctioned NOPI events as I have in past years and you will learn about all of these issues
with even playing field it gives you a playing field to have a MOTORSPORT which is a contest of fabricating, wrenching and driving talent
What we have with evos at this point is who can mutilate their evo the most and make a one pass wonder run which is in fact amazingly dififcult
All I hope that comes out of this dialouge is some appreciation for undertsanding what "going 8's" means and what relevance that has to normal evos
in reality one has nothing to do with the other

If you feel that my car cant get down on the street as well as it does on the track, you are sadly mistaken. Turbo lag is a wonderful form of traction control. My car does not need to 60ft hard to run quick at the track or on the street.
Yea we got it back friday, made 5 passes almost duplicated our best time with less mph.
Why are you so worried about what rear end is in it, wait till we make ours a convertible
Daves car is crazy, and most likely the benchmark this year. So it has a solid rear end, (its not a mitsu part is your arguement) Is your clutch stock, is your turbo stock, is your fuel system stock, is your ecu stock. so why the big fuss about a nonstock rear end set up? what exactly makes a car an evo? i guess as long as the car started as an evo it's still an evo
I'm sure if they had to back it up it could be done

Imagine the controversy if you made it chop top.. They would say it needs to be in a new class again.. You guys are already in a class of your own but now youll really be in a class of your own..
4g63 is 4g63 keep it real guys all of u guys a improving the 4g63 platform u are all giving the sport more power keep it that way and the evo will bw doing 7sec in no time focus people focus both ams and buschur are great companys
The way you guys are arguing about this, you know it too.
In the end, its up to personal opinion as to what dictates an Evo and what does not. The average Evo M member will be able to see the difference despite how much you argue.
This is an amazing thread.
It's all bull**** unless everyone is under the same rules.
The only way that can work is to do it under a sanctioned set of rules at a sanctioned event.
Who does the fuel checks? Who knows what which car weighs?
Waste of breath, I don't see any evos doing anything in sanctioned racing..............Mike is trying but even with his 9.35 car, no results yet.
Right now AMS runs ****, they have the fasest evo.
But wait a sec I forget, it's all marketing!!!!!!! ETS is selling too may parts!!!!
