It was a great turnout, however I think the Q16 events could have been a little more evenly spaced. These are afterall, serious beasts of cars and do need some finessing between runs. Its getting really full in the lanes now. This year I got 5 runs in all day, next year I doubt I'll see 4. If this keeps growing like it is, this might end up being a 2 day race event in the future!

 

Watching everyone taunt the SRT-4 neon to do something, only to have him rev the engine and accelerate quickly for 10 feet was great. It was great because immediately after he did it, a po-po appeared from thin air and bagged him As the cop lights turned on, it was amusing to see the entire parking lot cheer like we just found out we won some war,lol.

 

You can keep anything you like.... and if it took so long to you might want to get rid of the 1998 Emachine computer . The face I made when Nick grabbed my boob was pretty funny... My girl was like WTF We both will be back next year

Some guy that came to the hotel doing "burnouts for beer". He had a pretty mean burnout! At the Best Western you either had to play beer pong or do a burnout for beer, so there was something for everyone....

Nah, too much like a stupid frat party at the BW. We stay about 5 minutes down the road at the Milan travel Park each year in a cabin and chill around camp fires and stuff. We definitely go to the BW and Econolodge to see whats going on though. My Evo was parked on the back corner where you make the turn (Arby's side) all of saturday night. definitely a bad spot to park with so many morons in their duallies thinking they can make that turn.

I'm making a shirt with my screenname on it next year. No one just sits near their cars so you have no idea who anyone from the forums are. I'm shy so I don't come up to too many people,lol. On a side note, my fiance liked the fact that the tall drunk dude from Michigan that kept foot racing people at the ECONO thought she was really hot with her piercings and tattoos and stuff,lol.

I've been saying the same thing!

Why don't we come together and try and put something on over here in CA.

We've already got a small group of Evo's (20+/-)heading to Infineon Raceway this Aug 27th for a small gtg.

We just need to attract some bigger names and faster cars to make it a nice event like what DB put on!

i have a nikon d40...i just recently started venturing outside of auto mode...been shooting in auto for over a yr!

Ive been considering picking up an SLR. I think you may have just made up my mind for me on which one to get.
