I was driving home on the parkway last night and began to hear a loud clanking noise along with the rattle of the triple carbon even though I was still on the throttle. I slowed down and pulled to the side of the road and heard the same noise I heard when my T-Case went last summer. I was NOT racing the car simply crusing at 65mph. I feel like it is the T-Case but how could that break from not stress on the drivetrain?

 

correct me if i'm wrong someone but i'm pretty sure if it's tcase you'll know it... aka the death whine

 

not necesarily.. It doenst have to whine to mean its broken.. The front diff could be broken.. I have heard a few blown t-cases with broken diffs and NO whine..

Does it make clunking sounds when turning left or right?
