Whats the difference?

Can anyone please let me know the difference between the evo 8 and the evo 9 head.. Is there a difference? Sorry not a newbie but def a newbie to this part..

Thank you very much guys.. sorry to ask a stupid question Im just in serious need of an evo 9 head fo rmy car and I have someone with an evo 8 head but I know now that wont work.. thank you for your time and help guys

I was beating her a little bit a couple days ago on some 5th gear pulls and I devoloped a pretty nasty valve tap and figured it would be easier to buy a head and swap the whole thing..

I agree, even if you have a shop do the work fixing what you have would probably be a lot cheaper.

I don't think beating a little would do damage to the head, you were prob beating it hard in the 8k+ rpm
