a Mightier max

does anybody know anything about mighty max's...i wanna drop a 4g63 in it but wanna make sure itll bolt rit up...i mite be picking up the truck but want to see its possible potential b4 i do...

you can run into a lot of issues with the intake manifold hitting the brake booster, running coolant hoses and clearance for the cam angle sensor. the swap is not for the faint of heart. do some research before jumping in head first. Read projectzerog A LOT before spending any money.

so wuld it just be easier to rebuild my current motor to handle a 16g or a 50 trim...all i want is a lil extra boost to get around in traffic and/ or pulling power...jus tryin to be more nimble on my feet...non turbo is boring to drive...

I was going to do one..I am almost positive it is a bolt in, same motor mounts, just need custom clutch.

with parts getting harder to find these days, your best bet is to pull the motor and turbo it. use 2g pistons and 1g rods -- the standard cheapo dsm rebuild. light machine work is required. everything from a 1g will bolt right up as far as manifolds and such go. the only question left to ask is... why? if you've ever driven a turbo max/d50 you'll wonder why the hell anyone even bothered..
