StockVIII turbo+meth= what HP?
I am thinking of adding meth to my setup. What kind of hp increase can I expect to see with the meth? Is there anything else you would consider doing before I add the meth? See my mods in my sig. Thanks.
Search 4WheelSlide. He made 44xwhp/44xwtq. With all supporing mods, meth, and 8 turbo with 10.5 hotside and his own tune obviously.

you'll need a BOV (recirc) cuz you'll be running high boost. Upgraded WGA. (thats important) I would also do a wideband .
On a dyno jet you'll be in the low 400WHP and 400 WTQ if not in the very high 3's

I Just finished a tune last week on an evo 8 with an "aem" alcohol kit. Picked up 40whp and 80wtq on my Dyno Dynamics dyno.
100% M1 alcohol
Stock turbo, intercooler, and ecu
Full exhaust, intake, fuel pump, boost controller, and intercooler piping.

Thanks for the info,what size injectors do you recommend?I will be getting a hard uicp later this month and an APS twin vent BOV, these should help with the higher boost.

We've tuned a few that made an easy 376/376 at 29psi on sprint car meth. It had a small jet in it so we couldnt push it as far, but I would think with an M10 and some big cams/cam gears (he had BC280s without cam gears...whole different subject) and more time you can see low 400's out of most dynojets. Stock compression and stock head I havent seen to many stock turbo cars make more than 430 dynojet on E85 or Racegas. Not saying it hasnt been done or cant be done, just doesnt seem to be done often.

Get the ETS LICP, UICP for a very cheap price. For meth get any kind of meth as long as you get the failsafe feature. Get your stocker Exhaust manifold and 02 housing ported and coated (PPI is a good vendor) or buy any aftermarket, which ever is cheaper and easier for you. Upgrade your WGA to a forge (dont really have too but better if you can). Definitly need a Boost gauge+wideband. Get it tuned for at least 25 psi. I see a lot people running 28+psi with meth and get *Tial* BOV, no point in getting a recirc anymore (Headstuds needed if you dont already got one). Get at least a 680+ injectors from Precision or HKS is fine. You will be well over 400whp. Good luck~!
