A transfer case out of an 04 RS will make a world of difference in the way your car will accelerate out of corners,as my friend with his 03 with open diff just can't believe the difference when I let him drive my car,and when I drive his I can't believe he even enjoys driving with an open diff. The "diff"erence is like night and day,pardon the pun.

 

If you like charging them corners hard, then get it. Less push, less squealing from the front tire.
