Syncros getting replaced, what else?

I'm getting my 3rd, 4th and 5th gear synchro's changed from the dealer in a few days and was wondering what other maintenace I should get done while its there for a few days, ie. Diff Fluid change... My ride has 43,xxx on the odometer, I was thinking just getting the 45,000 mile maint. done too. Any suggestions?

Well, he obviously has to change the tranny fluid and transfer case fluid while he's doing that job. While you're at it, do the rear diff too. Just make sure they know what they're doing. Rear diff and TC use the same fluid. Tranny fluid doesn't even really matter, it's all preference. I don't know how much you know, but do a little searching on different tranny fluids. I personally liked Redline MT90.

Also, think about your clutch. If you're still on the stock clutch, definately change to a better one. If you already did that and you're sure it's still cool, forget it. You might be able to get a great deal on the labor for the clutch. Just a thought.

I agree with replacing the clutch while you're there if you are on the stock clutch. It is wise especiallly since you'll have everything apart.
