37R help

I tried searching but dint find any solid info on the spool of this turbo. Can you please show the dyno where does this turbo spool and power it makes? Where does the 37r wth 63. spool around??

I can get full base boost with an AMS built long block at 4900 in 3rd gear I think this is around 24psi which is the lowest boost you can run with their kit (pump gas only).

to the OP.
what power are you looking for? Also what's the purpose of the car..
maybe we can narrow your turbo selection and options down this way.

I've got a 37R w/ a 0.82 back. I would have gone with the HTA35R since it would be the best of both worlds..good spool and power..
but the 37R has a slight edge on peak power...which I want!

well i had gt35 made great power and i was happy with the spool on it. I had full boost around 4800 but i want to go little bigger turbo cause i want to build my motor later on it but for now just run little more power. I would love to get the hta35 but i cannot wait 4-5 weeks on it. I would love to have same spool as gt35 but with little more power.

well for same spool you may need to go HTA35R or the new 850AMS turbo..
but all these you'll have to wait for..
the best bet might be an HTA37R?...dont know...

but I had a 37R on my last car...it was laggy...but downshift and rev it and it moves! Didnt bother me much

Go to Taylors and print out my dynosheet.

Or Prestons

Or Bruces

every car is different.. quoting spool characteristics from 1 car to the next is impossible.. unless you have a near identical setup itll vary,, tuning, race gas vs. pump gas, ported parts vs non ported.. all contribute to how a turbo will spool..

Agreed.

On my old 67mm/"P"setup, I saw 30psi at 6,000rpm.
T4, 0.68a/r (open,) 2.0L 6-bolt with 8.3:1 C.R. in case you need another data point.

With the 61mm on the car now, T4 with same exhaust housing I see 30psi at 5,000rpm.
