Just throw some traklites on it;there soo cheap. Only problem then would be that you car would look exactly like:AWDMike's,Dan Bajalis, and Most Wanted. I dunno what it is about them, they just look so sick on WW Evo's. I think im gonna get another set of daily rims like the 16'' CCW Classic's with the center blacked out with a polished lip.

No traklites to be had anywhere. I'm just going to order another set of CE28N's I guess. The 'street' tires/wheels are 17's with Nitto's, which is what we used at the shootout in October. They may have to do till Spring.

Everything is looking good Tom. Are you guys planning to take the car out this month?

It has been a while, we should grab some lunch sometime. I am just about done with my initial training.

I took the morning off and finished up the car. Filled the rear diff with fluid, rechecked bolts, put the wheel/tire back on and pulled it out of the garage. Checked fluids on the engine and put the battery on charge. Cleaned up the trailer and put the trailer batteries on charge. Getting closer to taking it out.
Mac214, call me for lunch when you're available. I can come down your direction if it helps.

I called but it went straight to voice mail, has for a couple weeks now.

Do you have another number? If so, send me it in PM and I will give you a call for lunch.

I'll be there for sure. I'm looking forward to playing pit crew for your car. We'll have our car and trailer there as well. I'm just not too sure if we'll run it in a class, TnT or what, but we'll certainly be there. Good opportunity to show you the latest GT3586HTA that our sponsor sent to us. One incredible turbo for sure. I don't think there's much question as to whether or not it has some 8's in it. Safety now becomes the issue at 160mph. Hope your driving is up to par. I'd hate for you to have me AND Scott to listen to.

Good luck at the track guys, I hope you run and run very well. I wish ours were still open. I am officially in hibernation.

I know where you're HIBERNATING. Thanks David. I don't think we'll go full tilt until Tony looks and feels comfortable at the current power level. I also want to see how the new Swift Springs work with his driving style. Tony slides the clutch quite a bit, so I'll be watching that for weight transfer, etc. I can't make up my mind to just go with slicks for TnT, or go with the Nitto's, knowing we won't get good 60's or traction anywhere, but we could run class. The rear diff needs a little time on the gears too so they can be 'heat treated' in. Whatever we do, we'll have fun. Wish you were going to be there. Doesn't Dallas sound better than Northern Ohio?

I'm more interested in gettng the launching dialed in first. We only have 1 good pass on the new rear 8k Swift springs. You were on the 6K's before the trip to Ohio, so there WILL be a difference in the way it launches.

I bet we can get enough passes in between rounds without racing in a class. Either way Im going to have my hands full no matter what tires are on the car.

Completely finished readying the car. Adjusted the seat back to Tony's settings. Put some air in the tires. Fired it up and took it out for a short cruise. Went to my favorite autocross course and eased it up to 3rd and somewhere around 4000 I nailed it. A little accelleration, then all hell broke loose. This is one bad mother. The slicks had 16/19 lbs of air, but they didn't even ACT like they wanted to hook. Pretty cool here, so maybe tomorrow it will be warmer at Ennis, Tx. I think we've decided to just run TnT, so Tony can get some non-competitive seat time. Cars now loaded, ice in the cooler, trailer batteries charged and we'll head out tomorrow morning around 4:00 am for the IFO. See some of you guys tomorrow.
