9sec9/OKIX's EVO, ROUND TWO!
I am a little late on the apology... but to all MODs sorry!!
9sec9 Quit asking to be banned, we need you on this forum... otherwise we will never know what it takes to go 9's on a little turbo. If it wasnt for you we would all be scratching our heads and looking at the guys in PR like they were aliens with d*cks on their heads. Thanks to you we now know that all it takes is an a$$ton of r&d and custom parts.
Good to see you back, Now go out there and take the record down!!

Great night tonight, not the WORLD's greatest but still a good night. I will leave the details for Tom. We still have some work to do for a record ET pass but still ran quite a few personal bests.
Great job driving again Trent.
It's been a long day, 18 hours right now.

I just got logged in myself. I agree David. The night wasn't quite what we hoped for, but still a good night. I may have missed a run, but we had all 8 runs over 143.28mph and 5 of those were over 144 with a best of 144.74. ET-wise, all runs were in the 9's, but traction proved to be the hardest thing to dial in. David continuously tried to get the 2step just right, but the track was good/so-so/bad/good etc. The 60's ranged from a 1.62 to a best of 1.41, so based on the 1.41, we added some rpm to the launch and blew the tires off of it. VERY fine line on traction vs lighting them up all the way through first. Poor Trent drove his butt off, but if it's not there, it's not there. We DID improve our times however. We tied our previous best and then went 9.69 at 143.64mph. The 1/8th was 6.27 at 109.20 with a 330 of 4.06. This pass was made with a .024 reaction time. So, Trent's not just a good shifter, he's also great on the tree. Like I said, not quite to our goal of beating the Great PR time of 9.59, but only .1 away and we think we found it in the tune, just couldn't get the track to co-operate. These times and mph are pretty encouraging to us, since the cars' weight is nearly 2900 pounds with Trent. Dragway 42 isn't supposed to be the fastest track around, so later this week, we go to Norwalk Summit Raceway Park. Maybe things will be a little quicker.

great job tonight guys, it was a treat to be there and watch you guys run. Sadly traction wasnt there for me tonight so i have to sweet new FP Red times to post, but my 60fts were terrible so i know theres alot of room to improve. I wish i could go to norwalk friday. Good luck guys, break some records!
Nice job tonight guys! It was fun as always! My new Personal Bests were a blast! I belive my car will get what Ive been looking for on Friday, also!
Dave, I was looking at the logs when I got back a few minites ago, once again I have to say: YOU ARE THE F'ING MAN! The tune is sick and dead on! Cant wait till friday!

Thanks celica and Tom.
Celica, those back to back 10.1's at 142+mph were nice, especially when you pulled both times off against the POS you happened to run on those passes! You made Trent and I really proud!!!
Tom, we'll get to work again tomorrow on the few changes you and I spoke about and hope for the best at Norwalk Friday night. Hopefully it's not as crowded as it typically is.
It's 4:30 am and I'm so amped up I couldn't sleep............

You and David might be being modest and despite not setting the ET record I would call that a pretty freaking good night. (8) 9 second passes in the mid 140's, a new personal best, all this done at D42, and the car is still in one piece. I think that is pretty damn impressive and something to be happy about. $.02 from my perspective.
Norwalk's track prep will prove to be beneficial.
8/ 9 SECOND PASSES?? Thats outstanding!!! Nice job Trent, Tom, David, and the whole crew.
Wow.. (can't really think of much more to say then WOW).. I guess go bracket race that thing!!! lol
