Sounds good Jarrod! (thanks for relieving me of my AMAZING video skills for the night so I could drive! lol j/k!)

Mellon, thanks alot. And yes it helps alot when you have Dave there making the tune PERFECT for every run, and Trent who is not only an amazing driver, but an awesome teacher! I have learned so much from him this year!

Great job driving again Trent.

It's been a long day, 18 hours right now.

Thank you Dave!! Great effort all around from everyone.
Taking the wife for dinner tonight then I can stay away from her for another week or two

Sounds impressive to all of you lastnight!

I think friday will prove to be a bust in terms of making alot of runs... If I had to guess Trent, you will proly only get 3 passes at the most???

Also Trent just take the guys advice from 42 on sunday... "Just drop the clutch"

You guys are right................8, 9 second passes in a row at 143 and 144 mph, no broken parts, absolutely perfect is how the car ran/performed. This is on a turbo that looks 100% stock, stock manifold, SS 02 housing, no dump tube........what are we complaining about?! It is pretty freaking amazing.

I may have missed a run, but we had all 8 runs over 143.28mph and 5 of those were over 144 with a best of 144.74. ET-wise, all runs were in the 9's, but traction proved to be the hardest thing to dial in. David continuously tried to get the 2step just right, but the track was good/so-so/bad/good etc. The 60's ranged from a 1.62 to a best of 1.41, so based on the 1.41, we added some rpm to the launch and blew the tires off of it. VERY fine line on traction vs lighting them up all the way through first. Poor Trent drove his butt off, but if it's not there, it's not there. We DID improve our times however. We tied our previous best and then went 9.69 at 143.64mph. The 1/8th was 6.27 at 109.20 with a 330 of 4.06. This pass was made with a .024 reaction time. So, Trent's not just a good shifter, he's also great on the tree. Like I said, not quite to our goal of beating the Great PR time of 9.59, but only .1 away and we think we found it in the tune, just couldn't get the track to co-operate. These times and mph are pretty encouraging to us, since the cars' weight is nearly 2900 pounds with Trent. Dragway 42 isn't supposed to be the fastest track around, so later this week, we go to Norwalk Summit Raceway Park. Maybe things will be a little quicker.
Amazing work, Tom.
You are working double pace, .

As Scarface would say, 'keep up the bad work' .

We're all working at double speed right now. David has a company to keep going and so do I. W'ere doing as much as we have time to do. I've been on the road for 11 days now and I'm beginning to get homesick, but we've accomplished quite a bit. Still not through, but tired.

Under Tom's direct orders I'm taking a break for a little while, but after I get my wind back I will get after the R&D for round 3.

It will be hard for me to top that footage you put together but i'll do my best.

It comes in time. Just keep listening to the seasoned guys and it will come. Just be patient!

Jrod, I'm not too sure how to take the "SEASONED" comment. I've been called old school, old, too much back in the day, but now I'm seasoned. Wonder what my wifes doing for dinner?

I was talking about seasoned drivers or guys with extensive driving experience. Not elderly guys wandering around the track harassing people.

Today is the first day in months I have not drawn or built anything Evo . It is giving me some time to do nothing and enjoy it . Good Luck tomorrow Tom and Dave. I hope we can shoot that last duck left in the row and then it's time to get serious for Monday...8sec9... ... hmmm... not quite the same ring to it, but it works
