9sec9/OKIX's EVO, ROUND TWO!
Dave, Tom, and everyone that was there great effort tonight. Tom I think I heard that last duck in the first row hit the ground. Now we can start on the next row Monday. Congrats to all. Jim
Cant wait Jarrod! The pressure is on my shoulders now to get a good 9 second pass for you to use! Not that **** I had! lol
Where are the new ducks coming from? You killed the last one tonight! Next up are the geese! haha

Wow, so many posts by so many friends. Thanks to every single one of you. Like David said, "The PR record was a no joke record. They set the bar so high that we honestly didn't know if we were going to make it tonight. When Trent went 9.63 then bogged on the 9.64, we kind of had an idea that the motor had a lot left in it. Only getting 4 passes made it tough to dial the car in, but David did an incredible job of tuning the car. The tune is 99.999% Davids outstanding tune. My .001% was only input and thoughts. David without a doubt KNOWS how to make power! Thanks to Jarrod for sharing the moment with me at the starting line. Thanks to Daniel for busting his butt every time we had something to do, even on the weekend. A very special thanks goes to the obvious, the TRENT-O-MATIC shifter. Trent doesn't just drive the car, he and David aligned the car and corner balanced it today. They both worked their tails off for me and words can't express how I feel about the entire Buschur Family. Last night it was dinner with David and his family, then I steal David again for tonight and put him to work again. We got both in-car and out-of-car video of each pass, so I imagine that Jrod and LUMBERJACK PRODUCTIONS is going to put together something great as usual. Thanks again to all. Here's the stats on the final run:
60': 1.41
330:4.00
1/8: 6.168@114.38
1/4:9.57@143.84

This post is to make a very special thanks to my friend and fellow developer, IndyEvo, Jim Kitasaki. Jim has been right there every step of the way. His input has been invaluable. When the video was up, he was evaluating it. When we had ideas, he was willing to make them a reality, even when he was sick and could barely talk. His friendship and dedication to our goal has been no less than my own. His enthusiasm has often kept me going on the mission. What we've developed has now proven to work. Indy, Thank you from the bottom of my heart. If only everyone could see what I've seen in you. Thanks for the friendship.

Congratulations Tom!!! I was happy as hell for you guys when David sent me the text saying that you guys broke the record. All the hard work definitely paid off!
Great job tuning the car David! As Al would say, "Master Buschur" does it again!
Trent, Congrats buddy! I know it can be hard to get into a rythm when you have a long break in between runs. Great job driving!

Thanks Kevin. The only thing that could have made it better was to have more of our friends and my family there. I don't think any of us waited 2 seconds to start calling. Unfortunately, we won't be resting on yesterdays achievements. Now, it's on to tomorrow's goals.
Congrats guys
Just a question though, I know i live thousand of miles away and you surely know what you want from the car, but while you're at it, and you know there's more potential in this setup, why not try and take record further down??
Congrats again

It has been a little over six months since I started building parts for Evos in my garage at home, you see this is not a big place like some other shops that have a staff of engineers, but a one man band supported by friendships developed over the years and here on EvoM. David Buschur gave me my first break when he was working on some aero stuff and the rest is history. Tom Powell had a goal, some great ideas and together we made them happen. I guess what I'm trying to say is, you don't need a mega shop to produce results, you need experience and a team that is willing to work together in good times and in bad. I'm glad to be part of that team and have both as friends. Thanks, Indy
