You can't get up that early Ron but you should definetely make it to the track and bring a camera. There are going to multiple EVO's there running your manifold and a few of them going for some stupid fast times

Gates open at 9 am.

Congrats to Tom, BR crew & Jim...damn that is just outstanding. You guy's are the real deal alright, dyno numbers are great but racing results speak volumes. Absolutely amazing, well done guy's.

The competition with the PR lad's has taken you guy's to another level, keep pushing the envelope.

Cheers Steve

One thing that I didn't mention earlier. When I removed the exhaust manifold and turbo, I noticed that the porting in the housing was nearly perfect. I saw no signs of dead air anywhere. Even in the area where the flow goes past the waste gate port, the coloring remained ideal, even though the flow has to 'jump' across that open area before reaching the scroll area. Just thought I would throw that out, so any of you pulling your turbos can look for a darker area than the 'cleaner, lighter' flow area. My idea was to eliminate that dead area to keep the flow going the right direction. I looked at Buschur's porting and they also did the exact same thing. That's the sign of horsepower.

9sec9: Did you grind down the higher "hump" on the far side of the bypass port's lead-in trough which runs across the floor of the tubine inlet area of the housing? As cast, the floor on the far side of the trough is about 3/8" higher than the floor right at the turbine housing inlet, and the radius from the far side of the trough up into the entry to the scroll area is too tight on the 10.5 single-port. Any secret pics would be appreciated. Oh, BTW, "dead air anywhere" is a veiled, hookah pipe reference, right?

Sparky, I know exactly what you're talking about, and YES I did. There basically is NO transition in comparison to 'the wall' that previously existed. Enough said?

This is the uber-basic port-ob I did on my 10.5 hotside when I was installing buschur's SS o2 housing and ported stock manifold. Are you talking about the red circle or the green circle? Any other areas you can suggest getting to that would help? I basically wanted to gasket-match the ports, and then continue the port job down in as far as I could with the basic porting tools I had available.

Thanks in advance!

Good luck today guys!
