9sec9/OKIX's EVO, ROUND TWO!
yes, those numbers were PRE dyno day. We modified the tune and arrived at the 'boost cut' chart which is used in this comparison. Then, today David raised it to the next level. Now, we're slowly creeping up on the 600 Mustang whp level. I know some changes that will get us closer, it just takes time to do everything.
We have some more tuning/testing to do on the cams, but these early results are very promising. Our JUN tune wasn't exactly too shabby. This is what I would call a version 1 tune on the cams. Version 2, 3 will certainly only increase from here. I'm pleasantly surprised at our results. A big thanks goes out to Scott at Forced Performance. As always, he's right there for me when we need experience and input.

Hey guys just make sure not to forget the camera tommorow... wouldnt that sweet to have Jeff go 9's and Tom deeper into the 9's on the same tape. Not to mention all the other guys who are gonna go there with their BR Monsters and go 9's as well. Cant wait to see the vid.
Good Luck tommorrow guys.

I think Trent's getting psyched up. He's definitely ready to put the new power to good use. Peak whp up 20, peak wtq up 20 and average power above 5000 is up probably an average of 25+. It's going to be fun just to get it back to the track.
Great day today. Thanks for bringing the car all the way back to Ohio Tom, you know we appreciate it and the friendship. The free burgers and beer tonight were good too
It is pretty amazing that when something like this is scheduled that Daniel and Steve (my brother and our mechanic) can go from complete car to completely taken apart and back together in less than two days. In this case that was all done and tuned in less than two days. A day in our shop is from about 9am to about 4 pm at the latest and an hour lunch
haha I have to hand it to those two for being able to tackle these jobs and knock them out that fast. All that work and the only "problem" was the BOV hose hooked up in the wrong spot.
The car is a beast. I can't wait to get to the track with it tomorrow. We have a mission, if we accomplish that mission, we will have another one very shortly after that!!

Amazing guys.

The streetability was absolutely good. At first, we had a boost line problem but David quickly identified that and corrected it. I took the car down the street and then back and nothing unexpected occurred. Not enough time though to really feel it out. The engine/tune were both brand new but considering that they were made for higher horsepower, the spool up on the dyno was pretty good. Looks like we had peak torque at 4900, but that will be improved as we improve the tune. I still can't believe that they outperformed the JUN's completely above 5000.
