9sec9/OKIX's EVO, ROUND TWO!
Here's the video of the new WORLD'S FASTEST Stock Appearing Turbo run. Trent Stanley was willing to drive it for us, since Tony was back home. Absolutely no traction. This was run with a 1.72 60', 10.03 et @145.16. The car gained 36+ mph in the back half. The 1/8th mph was 109. Trent said he did a lift shift in 3 to 4 and there was a little more still in it. With a 1.72, the already proven capability of 1.43 should easily allow us to accomplish our goal. We now have taken back half of the record using a 2880 lb car with driver. That's Buschur Power!

We still have some things to work out up here. This engine is not normal in several ways and makes it a little more difficult to tune than a 'normal' build. Today, we're actually going back to the shop to get back on it. Everyone has really stepped up to the plate for the OKIX car and I can't say enough about Buschur Racing. Thanks also HAS to go out to Forced Performance for build such great turbos and cams. It's pretty clear at this point that both do their jobs very well. Speaking of doing their jobs well, another one of our sponsors, Wilson Manifolds, must be proud to have taken a stock eom part and made it this much better. 145 MPH CLEARLY shows that it makes power up top. All of our ideas and pieces of the puzzle continue to work well together. As for Tulsa Raceway Park, we've 'adopted' this track as the only one in Oklahoma. Too many issues with Starter, track, etc when we go anywhere else. TRP does an excellent job for the most part, especially the starter himself. Thanks to our sponsors for believing in us. The Puerto Rican racers ARE the best competion, period. They've got their stuff together and to be mentioned in the same posts as Javier Monroig and the others on the Anibal BBQ team is an honor. Both teams have great mutual respect for each other. Javier and I have PM'ed on several occassions and will continue to do so. We've even shared ideas, so the 'competitve' nature of our posts has nothing to do with our respect. I'm sure that the PR team will be back and take the mph record back, but so will we when it comes to the ET end of it. It's the back and forth that moves both of us forward.

I know huh...its kinda wierd not being the one behind the wheel. I cant wait though to see Trent work his magic on the car when everything is working well (including traction). When he does I do not doubt it if we see some 9.4's-9.5's.
