Most "real" bulkhead fittings use epoxy at the actual seal interface of the wires. I went through this years ago and got samples of fuel and alcohol stable potting epoxy from both 3M and Loctite through the local applications engineers. Don't be afraid....

Same issue here. Will have a look and attempt an epoxy solution. Otherwise, filling the tank means considerable fumes, which is unacceptable if the car is garage kept.

Do you know if it should fill it with fuel all the way to the top?
I seem to have a problem. that after standing on idle for a few minutes it starts to go lean and have a pending idle. this seems to have something to do with fuel. my car is recently remaped, and the problem was also there before,

Filling to the top should not be a problem - ever.

Your problem appears to be unrelated. You should start a new discussion, with specifics about your system, programming, etc.

My Full Blown DP was leaking fuel through the strands of the fuel pump wires. After several attempts to re-solder both ends of the wires to try and seal them I ended up having to cut the wires on the top side of the bulk head and solidering new wires to them and heat shrinking the join.

Been fine after 5,000 miles

Just thought I'd throw this out there While struggling with the same Leaky problem for the 3rd time, Full Blown said they have a new 3M epoxy. They resealed my pump assembly again and this stuff looks much better than the original brown stuff.
