The Red #'s was made by 9sec9 and Buschur Racing, I only had a small part in the build. The White race gas #'s 479whp, 433 ft/lbs.

I'd suggest columns for ECU type (stock, AEM, etc.) and which Mustang dyno.

The stock 9 turbo numbers are too low. I made 371hp/370tq just a couple months ago on a factory calibrated mustang using winter blend E85

another datapoint

WR8 on pump + methanol = 364 whp/338 wtq on the Buschur Mustang dyno (stock ECU). Here's a link to the thread:

My White Rabbit Dyno - 364 on Buschur's MD (link)

forget dyno numbers. Let's see trap numbers.

Mustang FTW
Rich, that's not the point. Mustangs read all over the place all over the country - they don't all read low like Buschur (or CBRD if they are equivalent). Thus far, the DTM hasn't shown itself to read as low as Buschur from what I've noticed. I said Dynojet numbers, because those are the same around the country - they can't be setup differently.

To choose MD, you'd have to choose one or a few known MDs that absolutely read the same, but there are several who claim to read the same even though their numbers are always way higher than anyone else's. Such dynos will completely skew such a list.

Everyone says their MD is "factory calibrated." That doesn't mean they have the same settings nor that they read the same. That doesn't mean the one you used doesn't read extremely low like BR, but just realize that all MD owners say that same thing.

370whp on an MD with a stock turbo would be about 121mph traps on a 3300-3400lb Evo as a reference.

Thanks Indy - I remember reading the white race gas numbers but couldn't find the thread anymore, do you have a link?

I can add columns if you post links to time slips .

Clay, I'm not sure which comparisons of the DTM dyno you are talking about, but today someone put down within 5 whp of the same as CBRD on a car that was making 300 whp. I have no idea how the dynos compare at higher power levels, but for the typical 300ish whp level that's the best comparison I've seen, so if CBRD = Buschur and DTM = CBRD, well...

As far as Dynojets, they aren't all that consistent. I know of a couple near NY that are notoriously high reading.

Anyhow, that's why I suggested adding a column for the very dyno used.

I don't know how CBRD reads - I was taking your word for it. I am referring to trap speeds relative to dyno numbers at DTM and numbers relative to local DC Dynojets. I don't see 330whp at DTM turning into 118+ mph traps and such.

I have never heard of notorious Dynojets in NY or anywhere - I've never seen one that read noticably higher than another unless they were using different CFs (there are 6 or so to choose from). A column for dyno type is fine, but there really is no way to compile dyno numbers from around the country on different dynos if using MDs. If people don't care how far off the numbers are from one to the next and don't care whether some use a weather station or not, then oh well. As long as people are aware of all the inconsistencies present in such cases, then it's fine, but most people have no clue and some purposely ignore it.

The FP Green pump numbers above should be revised. The numbers you posted (388/358) and the thread you linked to are for Shameless Tuning's DLL numbers. When Shameless put that car on a real life Mustang dyno it put down 350whp/330wtq. The link to the dyno thread is here:

If you add a column for trap speeds you should also include the cars weigh as that plays a big part on the trap speed. Not all of these a cars running high traps speeds with small frame turbos all weigh the same.
