tc/tranny issue?
tc/tranny issue?
hello everyone, i just blew my tc... and ive been looking at sheps stage 2 or maybe even stage 3 but its quite expensive considering id have to pay at very least 1200 dollars more for shipping, tax and install
one of my concern is that with a shep stage 3 tc with the quife front lsd, some of the handling for a acd/ayc car might be compromised(more understeer, torquesteer etc...)
ive been strongly advised to take the quife lsd stage 3 over stage 2 due to its strength
any advises or suggestions would be appreciated
cheers

thats the thing, i have the funds(just) and all that but the thing that confuses me is that if i pay 4 grand for a stage 3 and leave the tranny and all stock... instead of buying a stage 2 tc and using the money i save to get a build on my my transmission
Call shep.. He will not steer you wrong.. He may say for your goals you need a stage 3 tcase but not a built tranny etc.. talk it over with him and hell get you in the right direction.. good luck..
my tranny is not broken or anything but if i pump out the extra G's for a stage 3 TC and then my 6 speed breaks im in deep:S
what about those guys at TRE offering a built for the 6 speed?... that could proof useful, and cheaper since i dont have to get a 5 speed case
appreciate your help guys
