If you have your CAT Removed, the Dominator Series is just fine and dandy.

I wouldnt run RP in my car if they gave me the oil free.. I have seen many tests showing its the worst oil on the market.. If you started getting lifter tick immediately after just switching oils i would say go back to the previous oil..

Will just swiching to a different or heavier oil get rid of lifter tick or would you have to bleed the lifters?

Tests on Royal Purple 10W-40 show it Shears out of Grade in the First Sequence of a 3 Sequence test... Sure sounds like the oil I want to run...LOL.

I always recommend caution when it comes to using a Higher Viscosity oil than recommended. Use of the lightest oil possible is the best way to go.

Use of a Higher viscosity oil Robs you of HP, Decreases your Fuel Milage and Increases Oil Temps. Could also cause excessive engine wear on cold starts including Shortening your Turbo's life.

Unless you are running loose clearances, you could benefit from running an oil as light as the AMSOIL Dominator 5W-20..

I've run Mobil 1 for ever until recently when the local auto parts store started to carry Royal Purple. I've been using RP in my EVO and the street and my Honda at the track. NO Problems.
