FP EVORed 470whp on 26psi with 100oct UL fuel
Didn't read the whole thing and don't have much time so bear with me.
- The numbers are with a 1.05 SAE correction
- That makes the 470 really just 447
- However, it also means the conditions were pretty awful (very hot and humid), so it probably WOULD make close to 20-25whp more in 60-70* weather
- 124mph traps with 447whp on a Dynojet and 3325 race weight are dead nuts. It's key that people remember that your power output at the track is ONLY relevant to your uncorrected numbers. the track doesn't correct your results like the dyno.
All in all, 26psi on this setup and trapping 124 is excellent. Go to 30psi on the same setup, and you're talking 128 maybe...130 in better weather.

Yes, you may send in stock EVO9 turbos for update and overhaul to EVORed spec. We are doing these in batches of 20-30, so we collect 20-30 used EVO9 turbos and run them all in one big whack. So don't take the turbo off your car and send it in, that will get you all angry and upset that we are taking so long. Doing these will be about a month turnaround possibly and cost $1099. We have already started on the first batch of update/overhaul to Reds, we went ahead and did that batch even though it only had about 12-15 units in it.
. I'll be using an old EVO VIII turbo for the time being till I get my red.
Damn not bad...I trapped this on the green in an 05 gsr with E85 on the stock motor so I am hoping to be around 480-500hp...also with a 70,000 stock block and head and 272 hks cams. I am now proud of my accomplishments after seeing this and I want a red BAD! I am sure the red will net me a 10 sec. pass with good tires and some better suspension.
so I guess that means none in stock right now? New of course

robert, where do you guys dyno at?
Robert, I see in post #29 you said if you break an engine during testing you have to start all over. Is that how ALL shops do it?
If we send in our turbo, do we pay upfront, or when it's done in a month or so?
