Need suggeston about cams wth following specs:
272/272 adv
242/242 at 1 mm
11.3/11
26-66/64-24
If I made correct calculations specs are
LCA-110/110
Which positon should be zero point for mivec cam (evo9)?
manufacturer suggest 112 like peak timing for both cams...I understand that this is evo 8 intake lca more or less, but how it correlates to 130 for all mivec intake sftermarket cam?

For exhaust already checked all position s +/- 6 degrees from centerline. Best power at +5, best torque at -5. But what about intake? I can move it equal to 1 tooths i.e 100, 114, 128.

The reason why MIVEC is on the intake side and not the exhaust is because the engine is much more sensitive to changes on the intake side, most particularly, the closing point of the intake valve. In consideration of that reality, unless the Exh LC is deemed to be significantly out of kilter, I see no real reason to do anything with the exhaust cam on a MIVEC engine. More or less everything the user needs is a matter of tuning the intake cam LC (and LSA) dynamically with respect to rpm and load.

I have a Evo 1 and I've just fitted new Kelford 272's and a custom td05 20g 6sl2 11 blade billet wheel but I'm finding it very laggy ie peak torque around 5000rpm
I've set the cams to +2 ex and +1 in
What else would you recommend to get earlier and maybe higher torque
Any thoughts, input etc would be great
