The stock boost pressure according to the manual is 18.5 not including any boost spikes. This is also talked about in the video that you are suppost to watch before they turn you loose in your car. 18.5 and it is set to taper back to 16. I measured mine when I got it and I seen it spike up to 19 and drop as low as 15.5 due to weather conditions and such. 1.275 bar is what your gauge will show stock at 18.5psi.

The stock boost is 19 psi peak, this will hold until around 4,000 rpm when the factory computer/boost selonoid drop the boost to 16 psi until redline.

Anyone might have any ideas why I only see 16psi max tapering off to 15 at red line? My car is stock. I can think of the following:
1) incorrectly calibraded gauge
2) a boost leak
I don't really have the energy to look for a boost leak right now, but would not mind borrowing another gauge to see if it reads right though....

First I would check your gauge. You might be able to swing a check up with the dealer to test your boost pressure to your guage since the gauge is reading low to make sure it is accurate. The dealer can tell buy hooking up a DRB or somthing simmilar to your car and taking it for a test drive.
