Engine off, key on, press gas pedal and loud noise!

Acd problem? 06 MR with 30k miles. If I slowly press the gas it's not near as loud, sounds like it's coming from front pass side of engine. I can also hear this while driving if I all of a sudden nail it.

Thanks

The process for bleeding the ACD system is to turn on the key (leaving engine off), then hold the gas all the way to the floor. After 2 or 3 seconds, the ACD pump turns on and you can bleed it if you've got someone under the car. I wouldn't describe the noise as very loud though...and my car doesn't have an ounce of sound deadening on it anymore.

No idea on the noise that you're getting when the car is on though.

i heard that its bad to press the accelorator pedal while the engine is off coz itcan confuse the ecu and it might start pumping fuel into the engine or something like that, so u may be flooding it ?

I'm pretty sure that the acd is what's making the noise, I actually had AMS bleed the system awhile back but it did it before they did it and it still does it so the fluid shouldn't be low or anything. I just noticed the other day that it does it with the engine off and the key on.

So does anyone have any insight on this? Has anyone ever had their acd pump come loose or does it sound like im just going to have to get a new pump to silence the sound. If i wiggle the lines coming off the pump while someone presses the gas pedal I can change the pitch of the sound.
