it is made for the 6 speed. if the dealer is putting something else then it could have been the other diaqueen 75-80 which is only good for the 5 speed. I'm at 27K miles already and went ahead with the 30K service hence got the tranny oil replaced. as for performance, it should be ideal for the 6 speed.

I got a few irons in the fire right now, but one of the things I'm working on is lab test of the SuperDiaQueen vs. the Castrol SynTorq LT that I sell. Based upon my experience with both fluids, my gut tells me the Castrol will come out on top. But I need factual evidence and data to back my gut up. $90 for that fluid is a little silly IMHO, especially if it's not a full synthetic.
