kelford 272's with my built motor on my 03 - built trans and exedy twin... cant get rid of p0300 to save my life. Tuning didnt help... im going to try playing with cam timing and a fluidamper crank pully, only reason i care about the CEL, is i need to take emissions, so i can get a new license plate sticker

so the stock coil packs should be replaced technically after 19k?

If your wires have more than 19k Ohms they need to be replaced according to the manual.

WIRES ARE CHANGED AT 60K, MAKE SURE YOU GET THE WIRES AND THE 2 BOOTS FOR THE OTHER PLUGS BECAUSE WHEN YOU ORDER YOUR WIRES YOU WILL ONLY GET 2 SPARK PLUG BOOTS, YOU HAVE TO ORDER THE OTHER 2 BOOTS SEPERATE.

so it terms of the spark plugs that might be causing the misfire... or misfire code... does ebverything leave them at the stock gap? or do you close them a little bit?

I've been needing to change my plugs for like 30K miles lol. I'm sure that's why I'm getting it. Luckily I have 8 NGK's just sitting here.

I finally got mine to go away. Call sparktech!!! best COP system out there. Also AEM standalone!!! If you got the money. The answer I came up with after research was that if you update your input shaft on your trans that that fixes it. I first seen it when I went to a twin disk clutch.

You don't need sparktech or an AEM to fix the P0300. The P0300 code can be turned off. See the link below. You should have search first and you would haved saved yourself alot of money. After Sean Ivey turned mine off it has not come back. The P0300 code is gone.

Reading through all these posts is too funny, I love it when people have no idea what they're talking about. Heck, I even found a way before the p0300 disable periphery bits were found that got rid of the code for good, and I still run it like since I don't have any problem. This forum's starting to sound like the typical Honda forum lately...what a shame.
