do u want loud?? if not go with RRE Stealth, especially since ur in socal! and even the Stealth screams in WOT

 

I don't have any pictures yet, I just know that it will be available around September 10. It's called a Competition Ti-C. I'm still on the fence about running completely catless.

 

I have the COBB TBE with the HFC and it's very quiet. I switched out the HFC for a resonated test pipe and it's making much less noise. If you want a quiet exhaust...the COBB is the way to go.

 

I went with the full turbo back HKS exhaust and its pretty loud WOT... but IMOP I think the TI exhausts are always a little bit louder... I think cause the tone is so different then ss

 

just to chime in on this, i have an ams tbe with a resonated test pipe and it is loud all the time. the resonator knocked it down a little, but it's still pretty up there in terms of db's. i had an hks dp, megan resonator and hks carbon ti cat back. much more liveable in terms of noise and pretty quiet at cruise on the highway. also, according to big al's dyno test of my car with both exhausts, it made 3 peak whp less than a full buschur system with no resonator and was silent in comparison.

 

also interested in this exhaust... i've never heard of it but was considering the switch to turbo back.

right now i have the original greddy ti-c catback w/ dc sports catless downpipe... it's pretty loud, especially at WOT. i try to shift to neutral when i see a cop about to drive past me.

 

I have full Megan TBE, and under normal dirivng conditions it's semi tame, but WOT it's pretty loud

 

So I picked this exhaust up....DEFINITELY louder than I'm used to. WOT is crazy loud lol. I noticed how much it smells...what is everyones' feeling about running catless in terms of smog etc?

 

I used to own the a DC Sports Turboback exhaust with no cats or mufflers and it was pretty loud.

It's def. going to smell now that you're not running any cats. Running catless is of course not the greatest on the environment. There's a reason why cars and trucks have them. But it is always fun once in awhile to look in your rear view mirror and see a big fireball if it backfires

 

is a test pipe legal. just asking.

Yes its illegal in some states but I live in such a small town it dont matter MUHAHA.

 

I just recently installed the greddy ti c exhaust with a megan downpipe and test pipe ... its loud but only if u WOT it.. but i havent had any complaints from the police around here in michigan... ive gotten pulled over already and the police never said anything about my exhaust... i mean my friends mustang gt is LOUd as F.... but hasnt gotten any tickets for it and still has cats on it..... and its still louder then mine hahaha

 

Its really loud but sounds sick wot. I went with a resonated test pipe and it makes cruising around much nicer

 

my cousin has an evo 9. and he's not running a cat. when he rev's you hear a popping sound.

 

i have a full megan racing exhaust 3" turbo back... and i hit a 161 on the meter...
