can CP pistons be reversed?

Just wondering if i can use CP pistons meant for a 6 bolt in a 7 bolt evo? Anyone know if the valve pockets are the same size on both side and do they have an offset pin or anything? Reason i ask is because i have some hybrid rods that have a 7 bolt big end but a 6 bolt little end (21mm wrist pin). I want to use these rods in an E8. thanks

I have some cp pistons here. they are not offset pin. It is easy to tell if pistons have offset or not. If pin hole is centered in boss they are not offset. the boss is always centered in piston. offset pistons the pin hole is drilled off center in the boss.

already answered

Only wiseco uses offset pin. ross, JE, CP, manley, mahle, all use reversable pistons.

The wrist pin size is also different between a DSM 6 bolt and a 7 bolt.

yeah, my rods have a 7bolt big end with a 21mm pin, and i want to use these rods in a friends EVO8, hence i need pistons that can be reversed and have the 21mm pin, all good!
