Back on topic now.
dave just saw that your running a new turbo on the rs, any updates on this turbo as far as dyno slips? correct if im wrong but someone said it was a fs365? was sold on your hta35r until i heard that this turbo spooled 100 rpm later and made 75 more hp, is this correct?

Its called the FS635 and it spooled 100RPM later and made 35whp more than a HTA35R.

My car the day before we ran the 9.1 was at 635'ish whp. After turning up the boost, pulling some timing and making it richer we ran the 9.1 and then I re-dyno'd the car. The power was then at 650'ish. The car over the last few weeks has moved up to 675'ish whp.

I am still waiting on a joint project between myself and Ron Shearer to add to the car. It should be done tomorrow. I think adding the new parts we built to the car, the added power I've gained already the RS should drop down into the 8's if the track is hooking.

I'm not one of these "woulda" "coulda" or "shoulda" guys. I'm more of a "It is what it is" guy.

There are a lot of variables and it is completely unbelievable to me that I even have a remote thought in my mind that my actual street car has a remote chance of running 8's. I never thought it was possible and I guess until it happens it isn't! haha

Like always, I am going to just continue to test parts and strive to build the best combination of parts I/we can manage. Combined with some luck, sticky track and more excellent driving, it might just happen.

Plans are to run my car again Friday night. There is also a track rental coming up again in a few weeks.

Well in my eyes you never cease to amaze and continue to "boldly go where no man has gone before"

Question, do you run your BF cams in the race car too? I think all the 9sec evos run your BF272's right. Just asking because I don't see alot of talk about them.

I think my choice in cams for my turd is going to be the BF 272's. So far from what I have seen they have proven them selfs to be the best choice for the setup I have in mind.

Kind of interesting if you go back and look at some of the testing that has been done on the HTA3582R.

Attached is a few of the tests I was able to find.
Looks like the HTA3582R has made the highest corrected and uncorrected numbers to date. The two middle tests seem to be incredibly high on the torque compared to the other two tests.

Looks like the torque peak is ~400 RPM sooner with the HTA3582R as well.

Great testing, thanks for the data to help make everything comparable.

that's what I've been telling my customers...I have quite a few that keep asking for the specs (as if I would have them) and I keep telling them...forget about the specs, look at the results
