I have Exedy Twin HD and was thinking of converting it to triple like Jeff but looks like Im going with Tilton as well coz I popped out my clip twice in a row on hard shifting already with just 3 weeks apart.
I don't know if Jeff had a twin and converted it. But I do know for a fact that Eric (SPIN2) converted his twin to a triple.
The power is up substantially.
Here is the same dyno comparison as the first post in this thread but with the weather conditions closer to what we had on my RS baseline run. The HTA88 still has 47 psi compared to the 41 psi in my car. Substantial difference in top end power now.

The correction factor for the september tests were almost exactly 1.000 though so they are obvious very good comparisions to each other.
Cool comparision, that 35HTA is one mean *** turbo.

I DD mine and on decel my tilton chatters noticeably but under accel it's fine. It's a bit grabby and difficult to master when taking off from lights. While it can be annoying at time I write it off as the price I have to pay for performance.
The tilton is probably the best clutch, but Ive heard they have some problems when you DD them. They have a tendancy to wear out rather quickly compared to the Exedy. I am also on the Exedy triple, but Im converting it to a push style like the Tilton with the AMS conversion kit. After poping the clip off at the shootout I ordered the conversion kit. Hopefully Dan gets time to get it fairly soon!
