An interesting dyno comparison of two EVO's
Me??? No way. Just call me a "Moto..}cough. .999999's }cough ..vator". Sorry, just had clear my throat. Something must be stuck in my craw. I heard so much crap about this and that.....paybacks are hell.
Damn I love that 'Lil Red' turbo. Sure will be glad when I get to lower it's times.

wow jut wow 10.18 @143 thats movin and i see u ran a 9 sec pass very well done my hats off to u guys that have the buschur built monster's!!!! i thought it would be a lil bit harder to click off a 9 sec pass but u just proved everybody wrong, i mean we all know buschur is capable of doing that he's just a awsome tuner/mechanic but for an average joe like ourself's is just plain crazy!!!!!!
celica, why are you going clear down there to
Also, BIG update to this thread. I dyno'd the black car again today. MUCH cooler and better air than last time. Also the turbo is dialed in and fine tuned much better than last time as we've run it a couple times. I was surprised when we loaded the car on the dyno today to just do one quick pull and check the car out for Friday night. The power is up substantially.
Here is the same dyno comparison as the first post in this thread but with the weather conditions closer to what we had on my RS baseline run. The HTA88 still has 47 psi compared to the 41 psi in my car. Substantial difference in top end power now.
Very interesting again. For a drag racing application, the HTA88 is the clear winner.
Looking to better out times with this turbo Friday night. If we can get the car to leave like it should, with the 166 mph trap speeds it ran, we should have a winner on our hands.
We have to get this suspension sorted soon, running out of time for this year to put the GT42r on.

Predictions: Slight variances such as 3rd gear ratio is a IX, if temp is 70, if barometric pressure is different,...
Based on previous times and CALCULATED whp necessary to run those speeds/times AND based on our own experience with whp vs et/mph.
