The "new" Wilson intake, isn't even in the works as far as I know. That's not where my personal street car will find the extra power it needs.

As far as what I will say or won't say publically, correct, I say things that others won't. I have a huge list of things I should say on many subjects that I have held back though haha The facts are the facts and if they make someone's panties get in a bunch I could care less. I didn't post anything nasty I simply said what the situation was and still is. The poor sportsmanship wasn't started on my end but I am glad to continue it with any that likes to play the game.

Last, scorke, you are incorrect about the cars we build and what they are set up to do. Actually 100% incorrect about the cars WE do. The rest of the cars on the list running 9's I am not going to speak about as I am not familar with all of them.

My car is the quickest/fastest on the list of street cars so let's use it for example. Last year my car ran a 9.6 at 151 mph. We competed at the Winged Warrior Event, which is a drag race, car show and autocross. Trent drove the car, he had autocrossed one time previously, never in an EVO. He placed 1st in the drags, 3rd in the autocross and we placed 8th in the car show. We won the class and event over all. The car ran on the same tires for the drag/autocross.

Every car that we built for customers this year, that has gone 9's and low 10's are driven on the street for thousands of miles a year. Everyone of them are complete with power windows, some with sunroofs, all with air conditioning still in them.

They all have the same suspension for the most part which is what my car ran the autocross on. It is also the same suspension Trent runs who has gone 10.1 and placed 2-3rd in street class in Time Attack with.

These are absolutely NOT cars built just for drag racing. That is not correct at all. If they were all set up specifically and only for drag racing they would all be much faster. The customers we have built cars for want what I want, the ultimate EVO that will do it all. NON of them have small brakes on the car, every single one has stock sized rotors/Brembos on them, as does my car that went 9.11.

I hope this helps you to change your impression of these cars as they are not what you think they are.

Dave, you let a college kid (scorke) push your buttons and it seems you always give in. Put him on ignore already You just feed the fire of the nay sayers. I would focus your attention to those that actually like you and the amazing products you and your shop put out.

If Scorke thinks these are one purpose cars, tell him to bring his poor college rear end to Ohio, and Me or any of the others will gladly drive him out to dinner, go around some curves, and then go to the track and prove these are FAR from drag cars! My car outhandles all my friends' cars and its on an almost all drag alignment. This car will do it all, if you dont believe us, come ride in one of our cars! You will quickly change your views! (especially if Trent is driving!)

Good to hear RE: the small brakes, that was one thing I could never understand, than you for your explanation!

I guess they might be more geared towards street driving than I previously assumed but there has to be a certain amount of sacrifice given for that much straightline grip and speed, again I cannot evaluate or judge it without being in one but I will take your comments into account I suppose

The smaller turbo has let us run consistent 8's now and has gone 166 mph, keep in mind that it's also on a standard EVO trans and our off the shelf race FMIC. I'm not even concerned with any new times that have been run.

We are having a lot more fun in our street cars anyway to be honest. My car ran 9.1 and my brothers ran a 9.6 last night. Much better times running those cars and hanging out with all the guys at the track then driving home.

i think that if you had run a faster time than "they" did, "they" would have pulled a couple of all-nighters to figure out what to do to come back and run a faster time than you did. you're sounding a little sandy, honestly. don't you think it would be better to get to the drawing board and do something constructive than to do some hipster "meh" and pretend that "they" just got lucky?

Scorke,

When I was in college I spent all of my time drinking, going to class, and dry humping cheerleaders. I would have never had time to spend nights on an internet forum talking about modified cars....or I would have had to give up all the late night hook ups which would have sucked imo.

It's just my college expereince and probably unrelated to all your posts in this thread.

Perhaps this kind of attitude is why "they" don't carry "your" parts anymore.

Maybe Buschur got screwed by "them" first!

Know the whole story before you run your mouth! I know what happened, and I will stick behind my friends! I know why Buschur feels this way, and that is why Buschur IS the best shop hands down, by far!

Im positive that Buschur doesn't need them to carry his parts, HE CAN make it on his own!

It's just business is the quote that did it in for me actually...........but what does any of this have to do with the turbo testing?
