An interesting dyno comparison of two EVO's
My car the day before we ran the 9.1 was at 635'ish whp. After turning up the boost, pulling some timing and making it richer we ran the 9.1 and then I re-dyno'd the car. The power was then at 650'ish. The car over the last few weeks has moved up to 675'ish whp.
I am still waiting on a joint project between myself and Ron Shearer to add to the car. It should be done tomorrow. I think adding the new parts we built to the car, the added power I've gained already the RS should drop down into the 8's if the track is hooking.
I'm not one of these "woulda" "coulda" or "shoulda" guys. I'm more of a "It is what it is" guy.
There are a lot of variables and it is completely unbelievable to me that I even have a remote thought in my mind that my actual street car has a remote chance of running 8's. I never thought it was possible and I guess until it happens it isn't! haha
Like always, I am going to just continue to test parts and strive to build the best combination of parts I/we can manage. Combined with some luck, sticky track and more excellent driving, it might just happen.
Plans are to run my car again Friday night. There is also a track rental coming up again in a few weeks.

I hope this new development you have in the works , works out for you and gets that almost unbelievable 8 second pass , in a true street car F'n sick.
I yanked the AC in my car so when I go to pull the trigger on my turbo setup , I want whatever it is that you are running , manifold and all
Sounds good, I should have my new part tomorrow.........I had hoped to run the car Friday but the track isn't open for test and tune. Looks like we are going on 10-10, Friday night with mine and the black car. That will give me some more time for some additional testing which won't hurt my feelings
Hey Ron, the brown truck left something at the shop today, it's on my desk. THANK YOU. I will let you know the results as soon as I get them. Just remember, if it works don't let your head swell..............it's large enough already! haha

turn you phonz on dude.
You should go! You need all the practice you can get to turn that 10.0 car into a 9.7 car!
Great. I have to hear that all time from Craig, Mike, & Ray. Now you too. Thanks.
david, will the FS635 bolt right up to your t3 tubular manifolds? I just got rid of my AMS manifold and got one of yours. I have the HTA 35r and if testing keeps looking good I might think of switching to the FS635 or your 67 p trim.
good luck on going 8's on your next track day
