It's all about the area under the curve...

Thanks for the information and congrats on the low 9 second pass with the RS!

DB can't pull the seats out. Too many videos proving that it's a true daily driver to do that. When it goes 8's, I'm certain it's going to do it with dvd player and all.

WARNING:This DVD PLAYER will not operate at vehicle speeds in excess of 150 mph. Any attempt to operate and view a movie at this speed could make for a bad day at the track. Normal operations will continue when vehicle speed is lowered to normal levels.

Hey Dave whats the weight difference between the black car and your RS? You should consider throwing the turbo setup and intake manifold from your RS on the the black drag car... it seems to me to be a more efficient and powerful setup.

You can't make an assumption like that...First of all the .84ar housing is too small. Needs a 1.06 or bigger atleast. There has to be something else going on. Our Honda, yes i know its not a 4g63 but its a 2.0L with a smaller stroke than 4g63's has peak tq @ 6800rpm's with a gt4202r. The only reason im making a comparison is we had a gt35r on the car awhile back (open housing t3 .82ar) and it didn't spool as fast as David's rs or have anywheres near that midrange, so the spool isn't coming from the difference in engines.

For reference here is a t4/t61 (same p trim exhaust wheel, 61.5mm comp) with a .96ar t4 twin scroll hsg on a stock 4b11t. Cams would wake it up another couple hundred rpms atleast, Im also sure more tuning could get another couple hundred rpm's of spool. Peak tq is about ~5000rpms. There is no reason a turbo with a slightly bigger compressor wheel ( and the HTA was supposed to spool faster than the cast wheel correct?) is spooling that much later, especially on a motor with good headwork, cams, etc like that.

Either way the RS is truly a badass car, i can't think of anything else that impressive in awhile

Too busy to do the comparisons: Here's the long and short of it.
You start here.

When you're through here, you go to step 1.

Then make sure this is working properly.

If you go into OVERLOAD, this is what happens:

Then, you start over:

Nice comparison David. I bet it really makes you think about the set up on the black car now.
