hey guys, doing my first clutch change and everything has gone relatively easy, however i ordered and f1 clutch and flywheel kit, and when i went to reinstall the new clutch, i realized there are seven holes for the flywheel bolts....but where there should be a smaller hole for the dowel on the crankshaft, its not there...only a small depression. Should i drill it to make the hole or is this a manufacturing defect?

 

There is no dowel on the crankshaft.

Furthermore, don't plan on the clutch performing any better than your installation.

F1 is garbage ebay crap and every review of them has been 100% fail.

nvm.. wierd... dont think my flywheel had that hole in it........ my ACT flywheel had no such hole

 

it's not a dowel hole, it's an indexing mark

 

Be sure to get those greasy finger prints off that flywheel before you install it. Use alcohol to clean it up.

 

F1 = epic fail....
