CRACK!! What to do

CRACK!! What to do

Today I was prying between my tcase and trans getting it appart when CRACK, I cracked the eyelet where the bolt connects the tranny and tcase right on the end. It didnt break off jus cracked.. You think itll be fine if I get it welded and smoothed out??????? What to do

Yes, I did the same thing the first time i did my clutch but mine broke off.. i had it welded and it has worked great ever since! hope that helps!

Well the cars on the lift at my school and theres a welding class ill jus have the teacher put some dots on it and smooth it out. You shoulda seen my face when I heard that sound... Aluminum is for cans!

On the evomoto how to i dont see where it says anything about dropping the sub frame prior to tcase removal.... I cant remove the tcase cause its hitting the oil pan so do i need to remove the sub frame????? Plz Help....

I don't think you need to take it off completely, but you could lower it a little by removing some of the bolts and loosening the others.

Got the subframe out today it sucked. Also was prying on the tcase for about 2 hours before I realized I didnt take out the input shaft... Oh and I need a boot kit now I went to the local parts store and they said they didnt sell a boot kit for a Lancer Evo .. Do you guys know if the lancer is the same??? HELP
