400WHP on pump?
I'm interested in seeing what everyone's route would be to obtain 400whp or near it from a stock Evo IX (Building up from this, stock parts can be replaced of course). Money aside, what parts and brands would be the quickest way to 400whp on pump.

i think the key thing is all the boltons and then the cams. Seems without the cams you will only get close. Meth just will make it alot safer with a much less agressive tune with just as much boost.

I'm at 389/367 with full bolt ons, cams, an FP Green, and 93 octane only @ 28 psi --- Thanks to a conservative road tune from Mellon Tuning. And that was on a dry 86 degree Memphis day, heat soak all around! No meth required either. I'm sure with a more aggressive tune, we could close the gap on 400 whp --- all on 93 octane.
I'm just not willing to run it on the ragged edge, but if you want --- Mellon can easily make 400whp on pump a reality!

I think you will need the following for a reliable 400whp plus:
Meth kit with all the failsafes and some failsafes for the failsafes...
cams 272's
O2 housing
Full turbo back exhaust
ported manifold
injectors
fuel pump
boost controler @ like 29psi
lower intercooler pipe and upgraded intercooler (stock will be overworked with the higher PSI, so this is for consistancy on power)
You will have a killer street car with these mods...

And stock turbo of course.
